Out of the blue TopCashBack Closed its Indian site topcashback.in operations. On the morning of 3rd September 2021 there was a mail from TopCashBack (offers@topcashback.in) with subject “Official Announcement: India site closing”. The news came as a complete shocker to online shoppers who were members of TopCashBack. The CashBack site that helped them earn money with each of their online purchase has gone.. just like that. In this post I will share the best alternative to TopCashBack that I have found equally good.
A Quick Background On TopCashBack
TopCashBack is a UK based cashback site that started operations in India in 2012. Since then it has helped shoppers based out of India to save thousands of Rupees each year (well.. or at least hundreds of Rupees each year). TopCashBack has operations worldwide including countries like China, Germany.
TopCashBack has not made public why they are closing shop in India. Based on communication with TopCashBack, they don’t have any plans on coming back either. In a nutshell TopCashBack India has Gone With The Wind.
Best Alternative CashBack Site For TopCashBack

The best part is common between both TopCashBack and CashKaro! You can withdraw your cashback earning direct to your bank account via NEFT to any Indian Bank account. You can choose to withdraw as Amazon gift card if you want it that way (TopCashBack offered an extra 2% bonus for withdrawal as Amazon voucher.. That is some thing that we won’t get with CashKaro). Another subtle difference: TopCashBack India had PayTM as a withdrawal option, which is not available with CashKaro. Whereas it is possible to withdraw earning as FlipKart voucher with CashKaro which was not available with CashKaro.

How good was TopCashBack.in while it lasted?
To give you a feel of the earnings potential with Cashback websites I am pasting snip of my earnings summary below. I made more than 10K with TopCashBack while they were operational. Now that they are no more, I switched to CashKaro and continue with my earnings.

What Happens To Existing Earnings with TopCashBack?
TopCashBack India (TopCashBack.in) site would be operational till 31st October 23:59:59, but no new Cashback can be earned. Existing users have to submit ‘Payout’ request for all Cashback earnings that remain in their account before this deadline and bid farewell to TopCashBack India.
At the time of writing this article it was not possible to visit any online merchant’s site from TopCashBack. In fact, if you try to navigate to any merchant page you would be taken to your account overview page topcashback.in/account/overview/. The functionality available with the site are limited to account, profile and pay out related pages.
